
Since the age of seventeen, Steven has brought the gift of laughter to many as an Actor and Comedian. His journey has taken him around the globe. With a career in the entertainment industry, spanning over four decades, Steven Michael Quezada has worked alongside some of the biggest names in show business including Joe Pesci, Helen Mirren, Danny Trejo, Brian Cranston and George López, just to name a few.
Steven famously portrayed the role of DEA Agent Steven Gomez in the Emmy Award winning television series Breaking Bad, which was filmed in his hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico. After earning a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, Steven continues to appear in many projects including The Mindy Project, Spare Parts,Magnum P. I., Documentary Now, Outlaws and Angels, Holiday for Heroes, Better Call Saul and many more. In addition to his successful acting career, Steven is a notable comedian who has performed on HBO, Showtime and currently has a comedy special airing on Amazon Prime, “The New Mexican”. You may also catch him at a live performance headlining some of our countries top comedy clubs.
During his private time, Steven actively advocates for youth organizations and was an elected member on the board of the Albuquerque Public Schools and is currently serving a second term as a Bernalillio County Commissioner. He and his wife, Cherise, have four adult children and two grandchildren, who are all his pride and joy. Oh and he loves to play golf!
